$1.9M housing grant opens 200+ lots for development

A More Housing Now grant extended power, fiber, and roads through Chris Mountain II and Trails, opening more than 200 lots.

Working with Archuleta County, the Town of Pagosa Springs, La Plata Electric Association, and other community partners, PSCDC secured a $1.9 million infrastructure grant through the Colorado Department of Local Affairs' More Housing Now program.

The grant extends electrical service, accommodates fiber connectivity, and improves roads throughout Chris Mountain II and Trails. Rather than investing only in the initial workforce housing lots, the project addressed infrastructure gaps across the larger development, expanding development potential for more than 200 lots.
