Downtown Pagosa Springs
About Main Street

What is Main Street?

Pagosa Springs Main Street is part of the Colorado Main Street Program, a statewide downtown revitalization network based on the Main Street Approach™ developed by Main Street America®. The program brings together local businesses, government, community organizations, volunteers, and residents to strengthen downtown through coordinated work in economic vitality, promotion, design, organization, and historic preservation.

In Pagosa Springs, Main Street is a Town program administered through PSCDC, where our focus on downtown economic vitality closely aligns with the organization’s broader community and economic development work. The Main Street Advisory Board establishes strategic priorities and annual work plans, while the Main Street Coordinator leads day-to-day implementation with committees, businesses, community partners, public agencies, and volunteers.
