Information collected automatically
Our website is hosted by Webflow. Like most websites, the hosting service may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working properly. The site also uses essential cookies needed for it to function.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how people find and use this website. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you arrived at the site, and your general location (such as city or region), device type, and browser. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address, and the reports we see do not identify individual visitors. We use this information only to improve the website and how we share information about our programs. We do not use Google's advertising, remarketing, or cross-device tracking features, and we do not sell this information.
Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. To learn how, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can stop Google Analytics from collecting information about your visits to any website by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The website will still work if you do.
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this site does not currently change how it works when it receives one. You can still use the options above to block cookies or opt out of Google Analytics.
How we use your information
We use the information you share to respond to your questions, send newsletters and updates you have asked for, process memberships, connect employers with internship and workforce programs, review workforce housing pre-applications and contact you about next steps, and improve our programs and website.
How we share your information
PSCDC does not sell or rent your personal information.
We share information only when needed to run our programs and this website, including with service providers that host our website, measure how it is used (Google Analytics), store form submissions, or send our emails on our behalf. Workforce housing pre-application information is treated as confidential. It is reviewed by PSCDC staff to assess eligibility. We will not share it with lenders, builders, real estate agents, or any other partner without first asking for your permission.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our staff, partners, or the public.
Links and embedded content
This website links to and may display content from other organizations, such as partner websites, property listings, grant programs, and economic data dashboards. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review their policies.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, for our records, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we are required to keep.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any newsletter. You can opt out of Google Analytics as described above. You can also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No website or online transmission is completely secure, so please keep this in mind when sharing information online.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
