Workforce Development

PSCDC works with local employers to identify workforce needs and build training and career pathways that respond directly to them. We bring together employers, education partners, and funding resources to expand skills, strengthen career pathways, help businesses develop talent, and build a stronger regional workforce.

Workforce training in Pagosa Springs
Our approach

Industry-led training

Training begins with the needs employers identify. We work with local industries to understand workforce gaps, then partner with education and training providers to develop programs that build the skills employers need.

When funding is available, we pursue grants and partnerships that can reduce or eliminate training costs for workers and employers.

Partner programs

PSCDC turns workforce needs into action. We bring employers, educators, workforce organizations, and regional partners together around shared challenges, secure the resources to move ideas forward, and lead the development of training and career pathways that strengthen our local workforce.

Our partners contribute the expertise, instruction, access, and specialized resources that help those efforts succeed across Archuleta County and the broader region.
